Flyer says its all. Looks like Ed Rush, Optical, Dara and Empress will be touching down at Studio B, Friday August 1. The dubstep room will hold its own as well with Dave Q and Dhruva from Sub Swara.

Its been at least 6 years since I saw Ed Rush. This is gonna be awesome, I hope Studio B brings some extra Bass bin!! BOH BOH BOH!

$10 in advance. Tickets at ticket web.

Benga benge benga! Dubstep awesomeness drop’s on NYC Friday the 28th at love. Seriously awesome that the TnB guys can nail down a European Dubstep heavyweight like this. If you go to one even this Spring make it this!

DJ Distance

From what I can tell DJ Distance has been around for a few years. I am relatively new to the relatively new dubstep scene and just came across this track randomly and totally fell in love.

Someone get this man over to NY! I love love dubstep shows! Supposedly he played in May, but I totally missed that bus. Anyway check out his track Demons

Want to here more of his tracks check his Myspace page or his blog

And oldie but a goodie. This track has Bass for miles. Reminds me of 90’s drum and bass with a bit of garage on top.

My 2 loves combined in on Current TV video. Bikes and bass heavy dubstep. Pretty cool, albeit grainy video of some Londoners doing some sprints with a dubstep soundtrack. Very nice.

Night Ride Through the Docks of London // Current

British producer N-Type hosted this mini-documentary outlining the current state of the UK Dubstep seen. This came out in June of this year, but somehow it has escaped my grasp until now. Some of the heavy hitters interviewed in this include Skream, Hatcha, and Crazy D.

If you new to this whole dubstep genre, watch this video, it give a pretty quick but accurate overview of the progression of the music.
